Which dungeon drops which gear and in which colour, for the Paladin, Mage and Rogue, the odds of every colour, the skill runes and the 185 dyes. Everything here comes from the game's own drop tables.

Paladin gear

Three colours
Magic, Rare and LegendaryEvery piece of gear comes in three colours, each with its own name, look and strength. The Rogue's sword Cavalry Saber is Blightstone Slicer as a Rare and Captain Fink's Sea Searcher as a Legendary.
Magic
The common colour. Most gear from normal dungeons comes as Magic.
Rare
Stronger, with a skill rune that makes one of your powers hit harder. Dread dungeons drop Rares far more often.
Legendary
The strongest colour, with a skill rune. Bosses and Dread dungeons are the best places to find it.

- Gear only drops for your own class.
- You never get a gear you already own in that colour or a better one. When you own everything an enemy drops in that colour, it may come in the next colour up instead: a Magic one as Rare (40%), a Rare one as Legendary (25%).
- Item find from pets, charms, potions and the rebirth's Treasure raises the gear chance.
- Bosses also drop Dragon Idols and Silver Sigils now and then, more often in Dread dungeons.
Skill runes
Rathbone in the Community HouseRare and Legendary gear carries a skill rune: a bonus to one power of your class, like +15% Triple Strike damage. Some gear, like the Unique lockbox sets, carries the +2.5% Basic Attack rune instead.
Visit Rathbone
Open the Community House from the button beside Home in your HUD and talk to Rathbone. His Skill Runes tab lists your Rare and Legendary gear.
Pick a new skill
Choose any skill of your class for the gear's rune. The tooltip and the power bonus change at once, and you can put the gear's own rune back the same way.
Pay in gold, sigils or idols
A Legendary costs 2,000 gold times the gear's level plus 20 (100,000 gold at level 30), a Rare half as much. One Silver Sigil counts as 1,000 gold and one Dragon Idol as 10,000 gold.
Dyes
185 colours for your gearLieutenants, mini bosses and bosses in every dungeon have a 1% chance to drop a dye you do not have yet. In normal dungeons it is Magic 95%, Rare 5%; in Dread dungeons Magic 72%, Rare 20%, Legendary 8%.
