Privacy Policy
Dungeon Blitz is a free online game presented by TamDesk - MottoGames. This page explains what the game, its Windows/Linux/Android clients, this website and our Discord application store about you, and what you can do about it.
What we store
Your game account
- E-mail address you sign up with, used as your login name and to answer support requests.
- Password, never stored as you typed it: the server keeps only a salted PBKDF2 hash.
- Your heroes: names, class, level, gear, inventory, gold, idols, quests, house, pets and mounts, friends list, clan, rankings and the head portrait shown on the rankings.
To keep the game fair and running
- IP addresses your account played from, and anti-cheat records (what was detected and the decision), to stop cheating and repeat bans.
- Technical logs: connections, level changes, combat and lag diagnostics, and crash reports your game sends when it hits an error (with your hero name and location in the game).
- Performance reports: frame rate, memory use and window size, sent once a minute while you play, to find what makes the game slow.
Website
- Support conversations you open on the Support page, until they are closed and deleted.
- Account page history: daily wheel spins, redeemed codes and hero renames.
- News votes and likes, counted against a random visitor id, not against your name.
What we do not store
- Chat (global, party, private) is relayed to the players online and forgotten: it is not written to any file or database.
- Voice chat is relayed live between party members and never recorded.
- We never ask for and never store payment card details. Donations go through the external donation page linked from the game and the Donate page, under that provider's own policy.
Cookies and local storage
db_account: keeps you signed in on the Account page (HttpOnly, removed when you sign out or it expires).db_vid: a random id so a news poll or like counts once per visitor.- Your browser or the game client may keep small settings locally (display mode, chosen tab, saved login of the Flash player on your own computer).
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when it serves them.
Google Ads measurement
The website pages load the Google tag (gtag.js) so we can see how many visitors our Google and YouTube ads bring and whether they go on to download the game. Google receives the page address, your IP address and browser details, and may set its own advertising cookies (such as _gcl_au) under the Google Privacy Policy. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland get no Google cookies: for them the tag only sends cookieless pings. You can turn off personalised ads at Google My Ad Center or block the tag with any ad blocker. The game clients do not include the tag.
The trailer on the home page
The trailer is a YouTube video. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; then the player comes from youtube-nocookie.com, Google's privacy-enhanced mode, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to it.
Discord
The Dungeon Blitz launcher can show what you are playing (your hero and the zone) as Rich Presence on your Discord profile. It talks only to the Discord app running on your own computer; we receive no Discord data from it. To stop it, turn off "Share your activity" in Discord's settings or close Discord.
If you join our Discord server or use the Dungeon Blitz Discord application, Discord's own Privacy Policy applies to what Discord collects.
Why, who sees it, how long
- We use the data only to run the game and website, keep your progress, prevent cheating and abuse, answer support and fix bugs.
- We do not sell or rent your data. Google receives the website visit data described under Google Ads measurement; your account, heroes and game data are never shared with advertisers. Other players see what the game shows: hero names, levels, gear, rankings, portraits, clan and online status.
- Account and hero data stay while your account exists. Logs rotate and are overwritten after a few days; anti-cheat records are kept while they are needed to enforce a ban.
- The servers are run by TamDesk on a rented server; data is protected by access control and is never published.
Your choices
- See, correct or delete your account and heroes: ask through Support from the e-mail of your account. Deleted accounts and their heroes are removed from the save files.
- You can rename a hero on the Account page and leave the game at any time.
- The game is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 gave us data, contact Support and we will delete it.
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version, and important changes are announced in the game news.
